A vote for Biden means a vote for democracy. We should never stop telling people this.

I believe that the good news about the economy is seeping into Americans consciousness. Pay attention to what they do, rather what they say in polls. Real wages are up, as are consumer spending and consumer confidence.

The economy is doing great, we're killing 8,000 Palestinians a month, what could possibly go wrong?

No mention of Gaza or Israel in this pipe dream that Biden might not lose in November. We're not going to forget.

Really? You'd rather see Trump in office again? What do you think he's going to do on that issue that will be different from what Biden would do, and how could you possibly believe it won't be worse for the Palestinians? And then there are his backers' plans to purge the "deep state" and the military of "woke traitors". Do you see that resulting in anything other than an acceleration towards an America that anybody to the left of emperor Palpatine would find horrifying?

Or do you think there is someone else who stands a realistic chance of defeating Trump? If so, let's hear who that is, so we can try to figure out from their record what their middle east policy might be.

Did I say Trump would be better?

I'm saying Biden is going to lose to Trump if Dems keep their heads up their you-know-whats.

If you really don't want Trump to win, pretending the sky is green isn't going to work.

You mean where one governing authority is autocratic, corrupt, hates Arabs, and can’t protect its own people and the other governing authority is autocratic, corrupt, hates Jews, and doesn’t give a damn about its own people?

“ Democrats have typically not championed their own achievements nearly enough.”

Part of the problem here is that too many Democrats on the populist left don’t want to champion bipartisan accomplishments because these run counter to their narrative that it can’t be done. Same goes for the Inflation Reduction Act, where the elected party left utterly botched BBB. Touting the IRA means admitting that Biden and Schumer pulled their fat out of the fire, which would be humiliating. Instead, we got the spectacle of a two-term rep nattering about going to the White House to lecture Joe Biden about his legacy.

The point here is that some Democrats prefer self-dilution of the of the message over a united front.
