“There is not a single inch of daylight between the agenda as laid out in 1930s Germany by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party and Donald Trump and the Republican Party in America today.”

I’ll say it again: If you still don’t think this is how the Nazis got started, tell me how you think the Nazis got started.

It seems to me that the Harris/Walz campaign was on the right track until they let David Plough become a "campaign advisor". There was a fairly sudden shift back to annoying, off putting, bipartisan bullshit. I understand we need Independent voters (who are really just Republicans who don't want to admit it). But pretending that we have to adopt watered down positions so Republicans don't get scared is just stupid. The majority of people support voting rights, women's rights, civil rights, addressing climate change, gun control, packing the courts, and raising taxes on the idle rich (just to mention a few widely supported issues). It's ok to campaign on things that people support. Dodging questions, or responding with weasel words only serves to depress Democratic turnout, and hands the election to the fascists.

YES!! That's exactly what they are. Cowards who are fully aware that what tehy are doing is vile, but do it anyway.

Netflix has a series called Hitler: Evil on Trial. You can clearly see the playbook from this series.

https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/research/shelter-services-program This is a link to a piece about a limited line of FEMA support of municipalities helping migrants ( belated to your previous post). As trump world does, they’ve twisted a little truth to tell a monstrous lie.

As I understand this, Kamala Harris has no convictions whatsoever and is in politics solely as a means of personal advancement. That she’s a Democrat is an accident of geography; were she from, say, Ohio, she’d probably be a Republican. Did I get it right?

The upcoming ethnic cleansing will not look like the past. People are too knowledgeable about racist rhetoric now. The new form of fascism will have some of the old policies. For example, the physical distance between the victims and the perpetrators. ('Most cops are good, except for a few bad apples" type of arguments.) And most importantly, making the same type of statements that Hitler made about eliminating a group of "other people" for the safety of "us". Twenty-first century fascism is going to be more devious in its marketing than before.

That's why I'm so sad that you don't have any moral integrity to mention the genocide that the democrats are enabling now. Did they convince you that they're not responsible for it because they only provide the bombs? Or did they convince that you have to vote for them so that they can protect you from somewhere else?

I wonder if history will regard you as being much better than Vichy officials or Nazi collaborators.
