Make no mistake about it! The Corporate Controlled Conservative Press is all in to put Trump back in the White House. They will print and the GOP Stenographers will say anything to get him back in!

The CCCP is NOT your friend...by the way where have I seen "CCCP" before??????

In 1964 Dan Rather asked King if he thought the Republican Party was in danger of becoming the white man's party, and he said "Yes". Slavers claimed that Africans were "inferior" to justify their enslavement. Sounds pretty racist to me.

Republican states pass laws to protect Confederate statues and openly push White Nationalism. Someone should ask Haley why she changed her name and why her Dad couldn’t work as a Professor at a White University.

These 'opinionators' and politicos indulge in a type of absurd hairsplitting that lacks any connection to the meaning of the word 'racist' or the concept of a country. Here is OED on the adjectival form: "Prejudiced, antagonistic, or discriminatory towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized; Also (esp. in early use): prejudiced, antagonistic, or discriminatory towards a person or people of another nationality."

Hey, if you include the permission and actual accommodation of 'Prejudiced, antagonistic, or discriminatory' into your country's original constitution then at that moment your country was racist. You don't even have to enter the hearts and souls and minds of its citizens; the bedrock document of the federal government was racist. BTW the precursor word for racism was racialism and OED's documented first use of that word is from 1880 in the Michigan City Dispatch in Indiana (shocker there) : "There is a certain innate sentiment.. which we might term racialism. On account of that inborn and inbread [sic] sentiment we all incline to consider the caucasian superior to the other races of the genus homo." Almost a century after the writing of the aforementioned constitution, this appears in a mainstream USA newspaper.

Oliver, I totally agree that America has racism in its roots, but I would argue that racism is an original sin of humanity, not just of America. As you surely know, the colonists did not come across Kumbaya-singing natives who never expressed racism against rival tribes, and slave traders took advantage of racism between ethnic groups of Africa to enlist local help in subjugating their rivals. And this racism, both within the US and other contemporary countries and societies, persists today, albeit less than in the past. This does not absolve the US of racism, but it is important context that racism is a near universal human affliction. And, in full agreement, there is a tendency to regress if institutions like the WaPo give racism breathing room.

Why are you still saying "the Right". It's all one big fucking family. Democrats in bed with them. Fuck both sides. End the duopoly

Where is the movement to end the duopoly? Or are you just here to convince people there is nothing to be done so Republicans can control every branch of federal government. There is always somebody to say both sides are the same but when it is time to do the work, y’all are nowhere to be found.
