Thanks, Oliver, and Kal-El, for standing for America and Ukraine.

Though Kal-El is not literally standing, he's with us too.

Seriously. A human being who does not like dogs can never be fully trusted.

Oliver, is it going to have to come to violence? Are we going to have to start it? If so, I'm OK with that.

Human life and the life of this planet are too short to have these creatures rule us.

Willis wants elected Dems to literally risk their lives while he sits back behind his keyboard and shytes all over them. We had our chance to stop it, it ended on 11.5.2024.

Great piece! However, I’d argue that Trump isn’t a thug, strictly speaking. Calling him that is unfair to real thugs, who generally are physically courageous, if foolhardy. Trump’s more a punk engaging in aspirationally thuggish behavior.

Russell Vought: Architect of Democracy's Holocaust

-------------

Russell Vought, a prominent conservative figure, has played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing policies aimed at consolidating executive power within Trump's administration. As the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Vought has been instrumental in advancing an agenda that seeks to restructure the federal government and expand presidential authority.

--------------

Career and Ideological Foundation

--------------

Before joining the Trump administration, Vought was deeply involved in conservative policy circles. He served as the Vice President of Heritage Action for America, the lobbying arm of the Heritage Foundation, where he advocated for limited government and fiscal conservatism. This background laid the foundation for his later work in government restructuring.

--------------

Project 2025: A Blueprint for Government Overhaul

--------------

Vought is a key architect of "Project 2025," a comprehensive plan developed by the Heritage Foundation to overhaul the federal government. The project's objectives include reducing the size of federal agencies, reclassifying civil service positions to allow for easier replacement with political appointees, and enhancing presidential control over the executive branch. Critics argue that these measures could undermine democratic institutions and erode checks and balances.

--------------

Implementation and Controversies

--------------

Since his confirmation as OMB Director, Vought has actively pursued the goals outlined in Project 2025. His initiatives have included significant budget cuts to various federal programs, mass layoffs of federal employees, and efforts to centralize authority within the executive branch. These actions have sparked legal challenges and widespread concern among public service advocates.

--------------

Impact on Public Services and Democratic Norms

--------------

The restructuring efforts led by Vought have raised alarms about the potential weakening of public services and the erosion of democratic norms. The consolidation of power within the executive branch, coupled with the dismissal of career civil servants, threatens the nonpartisan nature of public administration. Observers warn that such changes could pave the way for authoritarian governance, undermining the foundational principles of American democracy.

--------------

Conclusion

--------------

Russell Vought's role in the Trump administration exemplifies a concerted effort to transform the federal government fundamentally. While proponents argue that these changes are necessary for efficient governance, critics contend that they pose significant risks to democratic institutions and the balance of power. As these policies continue to unfold, their long-term implications for American democracy remain a subject of intense debate.

Russell vought wouldn't be anywhere near OMB today if Kamala Harris won. Neither would musk be running his tech goons inside the sinews of the federal government. That alone was worth voting for KH. But what do I know I never worked for David Brock. Hehehe

Lol Americans are getting what they deserved for rejecting Kamala Harris on 11.5.2024 but OWILLS & others want Dems to save us tho the American people put them in the minority. People have to touch the stove and get burnt.

Many people want this version of American democracy to die; they want the ideals of the founders, but only up until their idolized 1950’s, complete with all the nostalgia of a faux history.

Idiots want to go back to before civil rights, women’s rights, disability rights, & lgbtq rights; back when misogyny was approved, patriarchy wasn’t questioned, religion ruled small towns & pedos were happy to marry children under “biblical practices.”

Business wants to go back to the wildness of the industrial age, before labor laws, before regulations on greed & exploitation & pollution, before workers rights, worker comp, required safety standards, child labor laws, etc.

The current America is getting too diverse & opportunistic for “others” who can’t possibly be worthy of it.

So they’ll happily suffer now, thinking they’ll get a shot from the billionaires, thinking they will be favored once all of the “others” are sufficiently suppressed & pushed into the shadows. Too bad their broken brains are completely wrong. They will be the same trash then as they are now except they’ll be the primary targets.
